(For some reason, I'm having a heck of a time getting this to go under a cut . . . )

I think my muse has returned.

I have written a teensy little fic.

I need help 'cause I haven't written in YEARS and I'm super rusty.

I'm hoping this'll actually go somewhere, but I need help getting it there.

Thanks - I think Elizabeth will be the hardest for me. I'm so opposite her in most things.

This is the first time he's been around since she was released from the SGC infirmary. He's never been to her home. He's been so busy in Atlantis, they've only talked briefly and not face-to-face.

I was thinking he made up the mandatory leave - it was really him demanding leave so he could see her. He's missed her. He also knows from experience that she'll beat herself up and hide. So he's there to make sure she's ok and get her moving again. He wants her back in Atlantis or at least in the SGC.

*sigh* It's there, in my head, but I'm not as articulate as I was 8 years ago . . .

I'm hoping to work in what happened to get her back to earth. And how John's been while she's gone.

I just hope I'm not too ambitious here.

After I gave you that prompt I had, this thought popped into my head. This one really isn't going to be centered around Thanksgiving, but it's in the background.

OF COURSE THEY HOOK UP!! Silly woman . . . lol! That's John's plan, anyway. ;)

100% awesome start. And even with the time that had passed, I could totally see Elizabeth doing the holing up inside writing and being sad thing again.

Thank you!! If Elizabeth were sent back to earth, and no one else was there, and she was still injured enough to limit her ability to work excessively, I really think she'd act like she did in Return. And I put the Asurans in there, didn't I? I need to change that to just plain Ancients, right?
I seriously need to go back and watch third season stuff.

Can you imagine opening the door to John, who you hadn't seen in months?!? YUM!
