RIP

Liam Neeson is one of my favorite actors. I love the fact that he and Natasha were such a wonderful couple, never engaging in the crap most hollywood couples do. They were an inspiration, and a beautiful thing to see.

My heart just breaks for Liam and their sons. Just another reminder to cherish and be thankful for each day He gives us here.*sigh

You know what's the real irony? I never knew they were married (I rarely read about any actor or actress, because I'm just not interested in their personal lives) - you usually hear about Hollywood couples divorcing, cheating on each other and such crap, and that's how you know person x is married to person y. I don't read gossip pages, I gloss through those parts of newspaper, and I never found Liam or Natasha there. Today I saw their pictures together for the first time and I was sad when I read about her accident and how she dies. Their sons lost their mother when they need her the most. God, it's so sad.

That's exactly why I liked them so much. You never saw them in the tabloids. They loved and respected each other and their marriage. I just feel so bad for him and the boys. She was so young.

I am sad too. Such a tragedy. But it sounds like they have a strong family that will help them through it.

It does, and that makes it a little better. I also feel bad for Lynn . . . no mother should have to outlive her child.

Natasha's mother is Vanessa Redgrave (her father was an accomplished director named Tony Richardson, who died in 1991) and I have been thinking about her as well. And her sons. Such a pointless, awful thing.
