So I am going out of my mind with frustration. JR absolutely insists on "helping" me pack up boxes. Since Gus isn't around to keep her occupied, whatever I'm doing is more interesting. At this rate, we'll be back in the Pitts by next summer ( Read more... )

It will be fine Mel, I know that packing can be stressful and everything. I wish I could be there with you to help and everything.......Gus really wishes he were there to help too. Yeah I read the first couple of chapters to him in his Harry Potter book, I had to make a deal with him cause he wanted to watch more Spongebob what's his face. So once I read that it was more of that show....he can't get enough of it....but whatever keeps him happy in the hospital!!

The packing isn't the stressful part. It's keeping JR from choking herself to death with the peanuts and the bubble wrap (which she finds very fascinating, let me tell you.)I know she did not get her insatiated curiousity from me. That's all her father's genes.

yeah well, babies do that, I remember Gus getting into everything as well when he was about JR's age....thank god we have michael and ben to help us out...we can always count on them for when we need the help....I would ask Brian but you know how busy he is and everything. don't worry Brian....we know how to handle Gus and everything...we are always careful with him. If you want when we get here you are more than welcome to come and see him!! If you want to talk about it or something you can give me a call!!

Boys! Calm down! I'm not going to sell JR and I will make sure that I wrap Gus in plenty of extra insulated padding before I transport him anywhere.

Now that JR is with her doting fathers, I may actually be able to get something accomplished..even if it's just a smidgen. Oh and don't spoil her too much, please or I'll never get anything done. For some reason she gets extra cranky after seeing you two.

Well, I better get back to packing...wait the phone's ringing. Oh crap! JR packed the phone!!!
