well, I have been thinking about it......maybe later we can get him a dog, but not right now okay, mean can't we just move in and everything and get all settled before we think about getting a pet in our house. Mean I really don't mind it or anything, and I am not mad about the whole dog thing, it's the fact you should have told me and discussed it with me before you made him that promise, you know. Well, I will see you tonight, I will stop by the house tonight and get Gus some clothes and stuff, since he will be coming home tomorrow, then I am going to go and stay with him, well, see you later honey, LOVE YOU!!

I think getting Gus a dog would teach him a great deal about responsibility. Although, you may want to start small, like with a fish.

Hey I have been thinking about this PET thing that we have been discussing, and well, okay we can get him a dog, but it has to be a good TRAINED dog so it's not going to hurt the kids alright. But it can't be a puppy that's going to grow into a big dog alright. Linds, we can handle a puppy. Miniature Schauzers are wonderful dogs, and easy to train. And they don't get big at all. Trust me?

okay okay I trust you to get a miniature schnauzer okay. You can get one for Gus okay. But it has to be trained well enough to where I am not going to be picking up dog shit all over the house alright. So I guess we are getting a puppy.
