My computer has gone wonkers. We reformatted, got it to working, and the next morning, all they keys were torn out of my keyboard. It's a laptop and I'm having a bitch of a time getting a replacement. I found one on Ebay but it doesn't end for a while

Man, that stinks! I hope you get it sorted out soon! It seems like every computer is dieing at the same time. I can list (at least) five people on my friends list that have had this happen in the last month, and you make six.
