Our labor and delivery was nothing like what I expected at all.

So I had my OB appt yesterday and I saw a different doc than usual. It was one of those old guy docs that treat you like a number. The appointment lasted all of like 5 minutes. He just measured my belly, listened to the heartrate and asked me a few questions about how I've been doing (my blood sugar, the kidney problem, and any questions) and sent ( Read more... )

But first a little update. I've been feeling pretty good since my kidney pain has ended. Not sure what that was about but they thought it may have been a kidney stone or just pressure from Myra getting in the way of proper kidney function. So I saw my OB today and she had said earlier that she wanted me to get a non-stress test this week, so when I was done seeing her I went and did that. So I went to my checkup yesterday thinking I was getting an ultrasound and an amniocentisis. Keith was all excited because he thought we were going to get to see Myra again.
