This is sooo late, but I'm a procrastinator, so I don't care. And it amused me. :) Stole it from steph5628's journal.

1. Egg nog or hot chocolate?
I can only drink Egg Nog in small quantities and I've never had "real" Egg Nog (if ya know what I mean), so I'm going with Hot Chocolate.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
I hate Santa.

3. Colored lights on the tree / house or white?
I like colored ones.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
I haven't for a looong time, but I think it's cool. Perhaps I'll do that next year. :)

5. When do you put your decorations up?
Doesn't matter. Usually a little while after Thanksgiving.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?
Hominy Casserole MmMm

7. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
Pecan Pie

8. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Having the whole family sit around the table and my cousin Tiffany and I would share the piano bench because there weren't enough chairs. But even when there were, we never stopped. :)

9. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I have no idea, and I don't really care.

10. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
Absolutely

11. What kind of cookies does Santa get set out for him?
The only reason I set out cookies for "Santa" is for Gavin, and "he" got Chocolate Chip this year...or was it Oreos?

12. Snow! Love it or dread it?
I think snow is beautiful, but I dread it because when there's snow on the ground, that means it's too fucking cold for me.

13. Can you ice skate?
Not well

14. Do you remember your favorite gift?
A little musical Clown that played "Send in the Clowns". That was actually the first year we started opening one present on Christmas Eve (yah, I started that tradition in my family, biotches). That song still almost makes me cry to this day.

15. What's the most important thing about the holidays for you?
Being with the ones I love - Sticking with Steph's answer on that one.

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
I don't know now. Traditions haven't really been the same since my family is no longer in-state. We actually woke Gavin up at midnight the night before Christmas Eve (so technically it was Christmas eve early morning...yah, midnight is confusing) this year (last year now, technically) to open his one Christmas Eve present. So I think that may be my new favorite. :)

17. What tops your tree?
Usually a star.

18. Which do you prefer? Giving or receiving?
Giving fa sho. I usually wait until pretty much last minute to buy my gifts because I can't wait to give them to the people I buy them for. :)

19. What is your favorite Christmas Carol?
"Oh Holy Night", "We Three Kings" and that one mix by Transiberian Orchestra.

20. Candy Canes: Yuck or Yum?
I'm not big into Peppermint, but I usually have one at Christmastime.

21. What is your favorite Christmas special or movie?
Charlie Brown's Christmas one they show every year on TV. :)
