A Good Day to workout

I did 2 miles today and felt great. Since I am a middle-aged, overweight former couch potato I have been working on building a good basic fitness base for future running. i have to say that you might not lose weight for awhile. because even though you are working out a lot, you are also building muscle. and since muscle weighs more than fat, you may not see a difference on the scale for awhile. speaking of muscle, if you haven't already, you should start some light weight training!

it also depends a lot on what you are eating. i really like my journal, and writing down everything that i eat. i did it for 3 of 7 days this week, and i lost 2 lbs. weight loss=burning more calories than you take in. so technically, you can work out every day and still gain weight if you aren't eating well.

well, these are things you already know, i'm sure. it does help me to say them though, so that i remind myself of them =) see you tomorrroww!!!
