Well, that's it. It's official. My main client who was my lifesblood for the past 2 years has found someone local to do the job. I was expecting it, and I'm sure the person they found was actually qualified to do the job - unlike myself. I told Mike in the very beginning when he offered me the job that I had no experience and shouldn't be doing it

my SIL says that these days you just don't have job security any more.
If you want to send along your resume I can give it to Ed to show to his employer. Somtimes they look for technical writers.
I just don't know if you can do it from home or not.

I wouldn't take a tech writing position, so it's not relevant. But thank you. If they are looking for a Marketing Manager, that would be more in line with my expectations.

doubt it, but i'll ask...not really that kind of an office...it's a software company.
