We all survived. And yes it was worse than I thought. I took pictures and actually cried in front of the teacher (she gave me a hug) but not in front of patrick who was fortunately very distracted by the train table. I stayed for about 10 minutes while she told me all the pertinent stuff and then waited until patrick was settled doing play-doh

and the special behaviors will go away as school get routine, and part of normal life.
just remember, this is patricks thing, and it sounds like he is doing excellent! and yes, soon you will be most glad of the break and having him at school!
