Patrick woke up with a high fever yesterday and I kept having contractions. The nurse practically demanded that I come in and get checked, but insisted I not bring a sick child with me. That is really ridiculous that they didn't schedule you at 38 weeks. I had no problem with mine as I had gone into labor at 37 weeks with my previous pregnancy. Plus, it is soooo much easier on their end as well to just bring you in for scheduled, rather than have you in labor.
