I'm so happy you're back! The pictures you sent were so freaking adorable! What a cutiepie! I tried to print them out for work, but now Natalie's head looks like a space saucer! (Distortion and bad printers...)
Anyway, it's cute and I'm accosting all my coworkers (and steve of course) to look at my email at Natalie!
I'm really sorry I couldn't make it out on Sunday. Tonight is the first night of school... :( I'm kind of worn out - I wanted to be a little more rested before I started up again, but what am I gonna do, right?
Lo, I thwart thee!pure_doxykSeptember 2 2004, 05:07:18 UTC
...I don't mean to thwart your attempts to have a smaller friends' list, and you certainly don't have to stick me on yours, but now that you're back (and reminded me), I slapped you on mine. Natalie is just enough younger than Marien that I find reading about her immensely amusing (and edifying, as in, "Thank the lord that part's over with"...like the tooth / breastfeeding thing. ::shudders::).
Anyway, I don't post about Marien all that much--she's a big part of my *real* life, but LJ is mostly reserved for my abstract, philosophic life. Soo, if "she called me a slut!" is too imaginary & ungrounded for you, you might want to stay away from my journal, where "help, my definition of determinism changed!" is a reason for real panic.
In any case, hi, and congrats and take care & all that good shit! -MSL / K*

You are so funny! I'm going to try and add you again today, but who knows how long my working connection will last. I wasn't referring to you in that post, you have always been kind of a no-nonsense person, which is cool. Philosophy is great, it's high school crap I don't need, you know? I done graj-a-muh-tated 9 years ago, and hated the drama when I was there! You seemed to feel that way, too. If I hadn't been a new student that year (1994-1995), I may have skipped past some of the losers..you know who I'm talking about.
I can't wait till Natalie is Marien's age. I can't wait till this time is over, but I love it at the same time. She such a cute, happy baby! Ask D's mom. She sees her all the time.
Now that you've stated that you didn't have any malice aforethought, if anybody sues, your attorney can successfully launch an "absence of malice" defense! And you've got plenty of witnesses!
