Why does corn you steal from a field always taste better?

I'm stealing this idea from one of you. How neat!
This is the problem with LJ, we all think we are so close, and we know nothing about each other. I'm going to rectify it. I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me, something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away ( Read more... )

It took so long because originally Angie and I were hanging out at Java Joe's before we made the move to The Zone?
My favorite season has to be fall, I love the smell of autumn air. It's that wet, colorful falling leaves smell. Not to mention the beauty of the leaves and the sunsets. Weirdly enough throughout fall I get the song 'Black No. 1' by Type O Negative stuck in my head. I remember walking to Denny's in Allen Park from the infamous Ed's house, around 12:30am, wearing this crazy velvet skirt that was held together with about 80 safety pins, and listening to Bloody Kisses in my headphones. At that time Type O was like this meditative intimate thing for me.

Hmm, despite my conviction that text-questions-and-answers no more a relationship make than text-rants do...this did sound fun.

I would love to be a second or third grade teacher. Those kids are still young enough to be very cute, but they are old enough to be reasoned with. Also they are too young to have the "you and what army," thing that adolescents get. I had teachers who really had an impact on me and I've gone back to those schools to tell them how much they helped me. I would love to be on the receiving end of that one day.
No it hasn't always been my dream job. Working with kids on and off since 1998 has done that. I found myself getting very attached to the kids in daycare but they come and go all the time. This has been difficult for me. I think that being a teacher, even though they are in your class for a year, you still see them in the school growing up. It's great.
