My wedding dress is to arrive here tomorrow, hopefully I'll still be here when this happens. It won't fit me right now, I purposely bought it ( Read more... )

Wedding "Bliss?" randomchasm December 6 2004, 02:40:15 UTC
You tell that fat ass cow of a wench that she can take her money and shove it up her catholic-boy loving rect...ory. Haha.
Husband's priestly advice is that you are better off NOT baptizing Natalie or doing any of the in-law um, Requirements.
I would say piss her off an baptize her gnostic, but that cant be done until she is old enough to tell you she wants it herself. As it should be. ;)
Now you have to call me.

I have no problem with the Catholic church, I have a problem with people like my granndma & Brian's mom who are Catholic. The self-righteous attitude. As for the gay thing, of course their opinion about gays is stupid, like one of you said, it's made up by humans not God. I agree with probably 75% of what Catholicism stands for, I think our society takes too many things too lightly these days. I believe strongly about every one of the 10 Commandments. It really bothers me that I have a kid & I'm not married. If you read their actual stance on marriage and the commitment therein, it's very serious, and yet quite beautiful. I truly long for it. I just don't like the people of that religion who are corrupt, which unfortunately are too many. I also don't like someone coming in and trying to change my marriage for their own need to control. That's kind of what I'm starting to do. I don't want/need a war with my future mother-in-law, you know?

You know, you are totally right about that. I've been just kind of ignoring her rude comments and continuing on like it didn't happen. It obviously bothers me or I wouldn't bitch about it. I just make sure she doesn't see her words affecting me, because I don't want to give her that power. I used to do this with my dad, now he's not so critical of me anymore.
Who knows..
