I have The Cure's Friday I'm in love I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Oh, Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday I'm in love

Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate...

I don't care if Mondays black
Tuesday, Wednesday - heart attack
Thursday, never looking back
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday, you can hold your head
Tuesday, Wednesday stay in bed
Or Thursday - watch the walls instead
It's Friday, I'm in love

Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate...

Dressed up to the eyes
It's a wonderful surprise
To see your shoes and your spirits rise
Throwing out your frown
And just smiling at the sound
And as sleek as a shriek
Spinning round and round
Always take a big bite
It's such a gorgeous sight
To see you eat in the middle of the night
You can never get enough
Enough of this stuff
It's Friday, I'm in love

I don't care if Monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and Wednesday too
Thursday I don't care about you
It's Friday, I'm in love

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn't even start
It's Friday I'm in love
stuck in my head.  Too bad I'm not in love with the fact that it's Friday since Kurt leaves Sunday.  I'm going to do my best to keep pretty busy so that the week will go by quickly.

Kurt is working from home today so he's dropping Morgan off at school and then going to pick our lawnmower up from the repair center.  It's a long story which basically ends with me breaking all our lawn equipment Monday evening.  Okay I didn't really truly break everything but everything I touched (our weed whacker and lawn mower) had some problem.  Our backyard is getting more like a jungle so I can't wait for the mower to come back so I can cut that.

Kurt is goin to Morgan's school this afternoon to do lunch bunch.  He'll have Morgan and 4 of her classmates with him and he'll bring in a blanket and they'll eat their lunch on the floor picnic style and he'll read between 3 and 5 books to them.  Morgan is so excited that he's coming in to do that.  I'm going to make him volunteer about once a month when he can work from home, he can take his lunch break to volunteer but I'm not going to let him just do lunch bunch, the man is going to have to help in other areas too. He signed me up for room mom when I told him not to so he's got to pay.  It totally is beneficial to Morgan since we'll both be very active in her class and it makes him more aware of what goes on with her too.  It's really a win-win and he seems very happy to do it all so at least it's easy to "make" him help.  I'm excited to hear how it goes.  I'm guessing I'll be helping him pick out the books before he leaves to go read because otherwise he'd take in 3-5 board books which are far too short and way too lacking in content.

Ben had a really rough day at preschool yesterday, I knew he would.  He didn't go Tuesday because he was sick Monday and it was like starting all over for him and he's really not happy about me dropping him off.  I'm sure as time goes on it will get better.  The best part though is I have almost no guilt about leaving a fussing/crying child with his teachers.  Who would have ever thought I'd be so tough skinned on this particular issue.  I'm the one who refuses to let her kids cry at all at night, I'm the one that lets just about no one watch her kids and I'm the one that is super duper over protective.  It's so cool to be so relaxed with the preschool and his teachers.  Considering my kid is the kid that has the most problems adapting, I'm one of their easiest moms because I do what they want and just drop and go, other moms linger and I know it drives them a little crazy since it was so stressed at our meet and greet that it's drop and go exclusively.

Not much else to report around here, just trying to wrangle some more helpers for M's class and trying to fill next week up so I don't go too crazy without Kurt around.

Have a happy weekend everyone!
