I don't know, I don't want to rain on your parade but I interperet the line a little differently. In the context of the song, it's striving (although out of context it seems to suggest an asthetic quality in incomprehensability, something I don't exactly advocate) but it's striving towards a complete impossibility: irrational, opium striving if you will.

Maybe that's just my interpretation, though. I don't mean to discourage you. Go! Try your damned best! Kick ass! :D
