(it's hard to believe that i have absolutely NO suitable wigs for boys!! well... maybe it's not that hard to believe seeing as i've only had girls before.) not too happy with the faceups. i ran out of mister super

it's not too over-the-top? :\ he'll definitely look better once he's got hair, so maybe i should reserve judgement until then... thanks for your input though. :D

(ps-- his brother's got silver eyes, and he belongs to ashbet so i wanted to keep them with similar enough features so you'd know they could/should be related, but different enough because they're different sculpts and skin tones. just in case you were interested. ^^;)

I really like the sleeping face-up (cute squinky eyes! yay!) . . . the waking face-up looks good to me, but I think the brows need a little more definition, especially since he's going to have black hair. One of my little face-up secrets is that since I'm not all that good at making tiny perfect strokes for eyebrows, I use a mechanical pencil to add some 'hairs' to darker brows, to make them look good with black hair without being overwhelmingly OMG BLACK EYEBROWS :>

Sorry about the MSC-substitute problem . . . I get my MSC from http://www.plajapan.com and I've been very happy with them, some of the other suppliers are really slow.

yeah the brows definitely need more definition on the wakey face, and so do the lower lashes (i SUCK at those!!). i'm probably going to end up completely redoing the faceup; i may look into finally getting an airbrush compressor (since i have the guns already) and do it that way.

OMG BLACK EYEBROWS lol ^^ yeah i wanted something soft, so i use pastel powder & makeup brushes. then i make some "hairs" with wet pastel&brush after i seal the base brow. the problem was that stupid cancer spray i bought makes like a water-tight seal or SOMEthing and a really smooth surface so the "paint" (wet pastel) beaded up and looks crappy. it wasn't as bad on the sleepyhead for some odd reason though. oh well.
