i have only painted a little with oil years ago, and I really want to get back to doing it... I need to take classes though, I'm just bad at painting >

oooh wow! I love how it looks so...erm...rigid? You know unlike the human body who moves smoothly the doll looks rigid. I think it's hard to do that in drawings/paintings and you did it well!! :D
I love the shading too! Must've been a lot of work! O_O
