"Big news here! Details are scarce at the moment, but the Death Note manga will be adapted into an anime. ANS states that it may arrive in Japan as soon as this autumn. Plus, a special tribute album is going to come out in June, with a Death Note video game following in the winter."

Forgot the site I found it on but I sooooooooooooo can't wait

HURRAY FOR ANIME ADAPTION EVEN THOUGH I HAD THE MANGAS FOR 4 MONTHS AND NEVER READ THEM!!!

Let's hope it is as good or better than the manga. The only anime I recognize as better than the manga is Naruto (although I did watch the anime first, but never mind that!). Naruto worked better in anime because it is an ACTION manga and action looks better when it is not cut up.

I don't know how the Deathnote will work in anime, but I do know that it is very popular in Japan and the production house will probably work their hardest to not mess with the license too much.

Now let's hope the anime gets here quickly so we won't have to look for it elsewhere *wink wink*

I agree. Naruto is alot better in anime because it is an action kinda manga. I really hope Death Note is as good as the manga...the problem is that it might go slow cause it has so much info. You better start reading those four volumes!Misa is sooooo cute but Light is the sexiest guy alive!!!!! lol

DeathNote the anime? I thought it was a live action movie. I had a really hard time visualizing a big, blue, CG alien in Ratio's bedroom. An anime version would be a lot better.

There is a live action movie for it coming in june (i wish i lived in Japan and could see it). I hope the anime is good tho because like its such a difficult kinda thing it'll go a little slow (more thought provoking than action). I read your common days comic and i thought it was great! You should really try to publish it...i'd definately buy and read it! I think Renji's pretty cool (i usually like the bad bois) lol funny how reane thought aoi was a chick! lol couldn't stop laughing! i was sooo disappointed when it stopped *sniff* keep some more coming!
