Hehe, I don't remember any 'nesting' behaviour before my grandchildren were born, but maybe wasn't quite as close to the imminent births as you. I see you used to work at a mother/baby unit and have/had lots of books on lactation, so you should be very handy for your DIL or daughter(?). I remember last autumn or the autumn before I had lots of energy for gardening in the autumn because it was much cooler and more conducive to work ( ... )

I'm not only close to the birth time wise but also and happily geographically. We live 10 minutes away from both sons and DILs (only one is expecting).

I think my energy is also higher now because I have retired. I work and rest in rotations. I also take pain medication freely I admit.

Doctors are very cautious about babies going over the due date too much these days. They are giving Julie 1 week then inducing. I think 2 would be better, unless they see a specific problem.

Yes, I was the lactation consultant in our local hospitals neonatal intensive care unit. I miss the people but like being home.

Thanks leeneh, I don't think I've mentioned it publicly before. I'm very excited. I dreamed about the little critter last night, all weird I used to work here but they have moved things stuff as I did work where he is to be born before retiring.

COME ON DAVID!!

I'm pleased to say this is the first year I planted garlic saved from my own crop from the previous year. But I have to admit I had very little to eat, lol.

I got the spinach planted too!
