Coffee Bean food tasting 10th July

Jul 13, 2009 14:43

Picture of some of us that went for the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf food tasting last Friday. Serena was taking this picture. Kana and Dizzy was there as well but they arrived a bit late.

All of the photos below (one above as well) were provided by Serena because I frickin' forgot to bring my camera along.

Here's the picture of what were served for the food tasting.

This is their brand new promotional drink flavour, Cappuccino Ice Blended. I know it doesn't look like it's new from this picture because most of them looked the same. If you compare it with Vanilla Coffee Ice Blended with this one, they both look the same. But I can tell you for sure that their flavour were completely different.

Cappunccino Ice Blended tasted a lot more creamier than most of Coffee Bean's Ice Blended drinks and the sweetness was pretty mild (unlike the Vanilla and Chocolate ones) which I liked it very much.

But according to Charles (the training manager), you can also request for the extreme version of this drink if you don't like it too creamy. The extreme version will be without the cream.

The first row of food were the Chocolate Brownie cakes with some bits of icing on top, the second row were the Tuna Panini Sandwiches, the third row were actually the same one as the first row and the last row were the Turkey and Melted Cheese sandwiches.

The two sandwiches were not exactly new on the menu. In fact, they've been there for quite some time now. Just the Brownies cakes. But I did enjoy savouring the Turkey and Melted Cheese sandwich.

Tasting the Brownie cake was simply delightful. I loved the rich chocolate texture of the cake with a little bit of walnuts in it. Be warned though, it was very, very rich. If you can't handle it, you might feel sick. It's no wonder Fara and Julian had to share a slice together. Fara gave me her share for me to indulge later. Yeah~ More for me! (happy dance)

They wanted to take a picture of the promotional drink with its price. So, they had me holding it because I was the only one who didn't bring a camera. Everyone else were snapping pictures like crazy.

So, in case anyone is interested in trying out this drink, you can buy it for RM13 at any local Coffee Bean.

That's all for today. I'm glad Fara and Julian let me tag along for this food-tasting session. Especially when I liked Coffee Bean stuff. I hope I'll get to go more of these food-tasting stuff in the future. :9

More pictures of that night can be seen in Fara, Marissa (at the moment, she's still updating it) and Serena's blogs.
