Ooh! SlamMaster Residencies! I like it!

I hear you on the waiting front as well, but a very wise person recently told me that if you wait until you're ready...you'll never do it.

But then the question still bangs in my head of whether or not I want to anyways.

And if I ever hear you call yourself old again, Sis...I'll find a way to Georgia and kick your butt! LOL.

'Yote hasn't been online much in the past month or so (mostly laptop issues I think), but I'm going to make sure he sees this - I expect he'll have a response. Because he appears to be largely in the same space you are in terms of slam right now. Makes it hard for the Poet Handler to know quite what to do in the encouragement/support arena, but I'm patient (well, kinda sorta anyway...patient with his process, not patient with not knowing how to help). :)

Thank you, Scott! You've always been a wonderful source of inspiration and guidance!

Thank you, my friend!

I think I needed to rant for that fact that EVERY time I walk into the Oregon District, someone asks me when I'm starting the Slam back up. I think only the owners realize that I was slowly killing myself trying to keep that boat going!

But then they look at me in horror when I tell them that I'm not running the Slam anymore, but that they are more than welcome to pick it up!

Dude, you know I'm cool with it. You made Dayton survive a lot longer than I could have. I couldn't forge Chattanooga into a new Slam (worse issues than Dayton ever had), and in some ways, I need the me time I've gotten for the past few years. Maybe someday, but maybe not...

You deserve all the credit for making this city thrive in so many ways, and losing Doug was much bigger than many of us would want to admit.

Scott is 100% correct, as he always is.

Also, when's the last time I logged on here? Geeze, months...
