Set after this.

After Dylan makes the decision to stay the night, he sets to work cleaning the kitchen. Chances are one of the robots will come in after him. Chances are that they may be finding little shards of glass in the strangest places for years. Glass jumps after all. By the time he gets the food to the living room, Tony is out like a light so he takes it back to the kitchen and boxes it up so it can be eaten when Tony is ready. Dylan isn't feeling that hungry either.

He retrieves a blanket from upstairs and covers Tony with it. Then flops down on the couch across from him. He opens his phone and texts Hilary. Staying at Tony's. Be home by the time you're done with final. Need to talk alone.

He closes the phone and closes his eyes. Sleep doesn't come easily, but eventually it does come. By the time he's woken up, he finds the blanket he'd put over his dad draped over him, and Tony is already up. Breakfast is quiet, but not overly tense. Father and son simply discuss anything that has nothing to do with the things that happened the night before. When Dylan heads out, he promises to talk to Rhodey, but Tony shrugs it off. He'll handle it. They go way back after all.

It's a little after ten am when he arrives in the loft he shares with his girlfriend and two best friends. No one is home, so he heads to the shower and quietly loses it under the water. Anger has dissolved into guilt and worry, and he's just so tired and confused. Because he doesn't think he's wrong, but he does think he went about everything wrong. He cringes at the way he acted, and he just wants his girlfriend to come home so he can talk to someone who he knows will at least attempt to understand. Dylan would love to go to his mother, but he's afraid she'll be more brutally honest with the truth than Dylan is, and he doesn't want them to fight because of him.

The sweats are warm, and the socks are probably not his. They look more like Stephen's, but whatever, they're clean. He's tapped his foot against the sheets of his and Hilary's bed and staring off at the view of the city when she walks into the room. He looks at her and tries to smile. "Hey. How'd the final go?"
