For my mommy friends, I just finished a really interesting book. It is called The Emotional Life of the Toddler by Alicia Lieberman. It is not so much a problem-solving book, but rather a child development book that explains what is going on in your toddler's mind. I'm going to check out both. I wish I'd gotten a PhD in anything. I just want to be back in school. I love school.

Really? I loved school at the time, but I am glad to be done. I felt SO MUCH pressure at exam time. And every time I did anything fun, I woudl feel guilty about not studying. Now, when I am not at work, I feel no guilt about work.

Really! I loved being in school. Exams were stressful, but the rest of the time was great. I was a pro at time management in law school. I seem to have completely lost that skill. I would schedule my study time and then set a clock. When my time was up, I was free to play. It was a sanity saver.

Thanks for the recommendation! I'll have to check both of those out. I'm always looking for good books on toddler psychology. Sometimes it is very obvious what is going on but there are times where I am completely baffled.

Well, I read the book and I am still baffled half the time. But at least it gave me some insight.

Wow, I really need to get some new books! I have basically not read anything on toddlers. I haven't been too confused so far, but maybe I'm just missing a lot...

Thanks for the recommendations. Off to Amazon!
