The photo is from a spiky Anglican parish in San Diego. It”s apparently a fairly new acquisition for them. I wonder how many sets of rose vestment are in use these days? I remember Matisse’s rose chasuble (for the chapel at Vence) was in the Vatican exhibit at the ’84 World’s Fair. I was looking for a photo of that when I came upon this image.

And the Thin Mints were wonderful.

Hmm. .. if you say "between the last frozen claw of winter and the humid, hot dragon's breath of summer," you'll sum up *both* your feelings and my feelings about Michigan weather in one sentence! (I'm sure we could work in a few more clauses and do Faulker proud.)

Hope to see you in NY!

You say “hot dragon’s breath” like it’s a bad thing! Yes, I’ll be in New York, presenting Friday morning. Hope to see you amidst the madness.
