You know, to me, this is a form of a fix-it fic. It gives life to an angered Luke and I like that. All that Luke is thinking is valid. Reid and him deserved so much more compared to some other's in Oakdale.

Huh.

Didn't think of it that way but you are right- in a way this is very much a fix it fic. I just had to give Luke the depth I know he possesses as opposed to the lack thereof we've been served on the show.

And putting my rant into Luke's thoughts? Merely a cherry on top:>

And yes, they did deserve so much better. I still believe that the show should have ended with extracting LuRe and nuking Oakdale. But hey, maybe it's just me. :>

Jackass!Luke commenting on all Oakdale citizens, in their faces with a very Reid-like manner (except he knows them better, so has so much more dirt on everyone) would be something I'd like to see myself. :)))

Stupid show didn't cater to our basic needs! Maybe someone will write it one day, for now I'm good with visiting the non-canon in which Reid dies only this time.

I loved this! I really like that you have Luke admit to himself that he kinda hates everyone right now, but then feel guilty about it at the same time. Because he IS stil Luke, of course :) And I agree on the bit that it would have impacted Luke more because he's a transplant recipient, it's too bad they didn't even mention anything like it on the show!
But anyway, I adored this story ♥
