Grrr I hate hate hate my roommate sometimes. And early mornings (these I pretty much hate all the time). What will the prof think of you? Will she judge you? Of course she will. But the more important question is; "Why do you give a fuck what she thinks?" You don't even like the chick. People's opinions should only matter to you if that person matters to you as well. Bending yourself to fit every situation without maintaining a strong sense of self is not healthy, and beating yourself up about every time someone is judging you doesn't help either. People are judging you ALL THE TIME. You just have to let it slide off your back like raindrops on raincoats. The fact that you put something of yourself out there on display is 10 times more important than what some prof you will never see again thinks about it.

I would also be interested in 30 pages of Ariel, but I also agree with you that it would be somewhat scary to read it all at once... I'm sure there'd be many things I've heard, and many things I haven't.

Ariel... I don't think reading someone else's thoughts are like losing a part of them... I mean... you have to take it for what it is... a different perspective. Of course different things will be important to them. I think it would be sad if everyone thought the same things were important. This world would be pretty boring and quite conflict-free. That's why I think wishing for world peace is so silly. How will we ever know the good times from the bad if we have nothing bad to compare them to ( ... )
