Yeah, I don't know what I am doing, posting these two doodles together. They both feature couples, and they are both safely G rated but erm - that's as far as the similarities go. What does it say about me that I am featuring Jamie and Cersei from Game of Thrones and Kurt and Blaine from Glee in the same post

Fic does exist (there's a sizeable bit in AO3), but it has to be hush hush and for the same reason there's not as much as there could be. SIGH. I hate it when authors do that.

And what little there is seems to be composed mostly of Sansa/Hound fic, which, eh, no thanks.

Sansa/Hound sounds like Dany/Drogo - sweet, fragile, naive pretty girl paired with big, violent warrior. Just - not my thing at all. Ick.

I have to say I ADORE how you draw Kurt (Blaine too actually). I can tell its Kurt even though it's not specifically a "realistic" type of drawing. It's rather hard to do fanart of TV shows but this is wonderful!

He looks so content there in Blaine's arms. ♥♥♥

I have to say I saw you're drawings and I thought, wow, that style really reminds me of one of my favorite artists from the HP fandom, cool! And then I saw your username, (I sometimes don't absorb them when I follow links lol). I just have to say I'm super excited to see you doing glee art! :D

Oh, trying to figure out how to do Kurt in my style was SO difficult, I am glad he is recognisably himself (I mean, I suppose it'd be fun to actually do a realistic portrait of Chris Colfer at some point, but that won't do for cute shippy silliness without references!) <3

(LOL all those years and it's still me! I am actually going back to the slightly cartoony style I used for HP when drawing Glee, maybe because I am drawing cute teenagers again...)

I haven't tried drawing anything from Glee, but I would imagine trying to translate Kurt into any style is a challenge! But I love what you've been doing so far.

Yeah, doing fanart for TV shows is hard - it's more limiting than for a book series, cause you need to capture something of the actors, but you kind of need to figure out a design that's simple to do but does the job? I am still getting there, but it's fun to try.

oh, wow, really?! Now that you mention it, the HP fandom is what got me here as well... I think I've had an LJ for a decade, wow. I feel really old now. XD
