look at the positive side- you got to work a lot harder to get the unreserved seats. haha where else would u need an almost full score in matchs science and physics to get an engineering seat (its a different issue whether the score really means much ... )
In principle i agree with reservations - if only it was better controlled giving it to the right ones rather than the ones whose parents have already used it
also technically 10% of the population deserves 10% of the seats right? as long as they also reserve seats proportionally for whats called the unreserved it should be fine
