Question, friends!

What does it mean to you when a friend seems to not care what you want to do when you hang out together?

Sidenote: Finding an online community to be a part of again is strangely satisfying.

I'm usually indecisive when hanging out with people and will say, "I dunno" or "I don't care, you pick" when asked what to do. It could just mean the friend is indifferent or up for anything.

I mean more along the lines of when they ask you what you want to do, and you tell them what you want to do, and then they push what they really want to do so that that's what you end up doing. I wanna be like, "Why did you even ask if it didnt' matter to you??"

And I'm not talking about instances where what I want to do is something that completely disinterests the other person, either.

Illustration:

Me: So what's for tonight?
Friend: Well, what do you feel like doing?
Me: Well, I'm really in the mood to do X.
Friend: Ok, I'll get my stuff to do X, too!
(now we're settling in to do X)
Me: ::all excited to do X::
Friend: OOH! I wanna do Y!
Me: I was really hoping to get to do X tonight.
Friend: Well, we can. But I wanna do Y! There'll be time for X when Y is done.
Me: Alright, but I wanna make sure and do X later, I miss doing X.
(we proceed to spend all of our available time doing Y)
