2013: Year in Review
I would say 2013 was interesting. I worked full time and went to school full time, culminating in me graduating with my master's in library science.

Your main fandom of the year?
Prince of Tennis... I guess. I kind of ignored fandom for a bit to focus on my schoolwork, but Prince of Tennis is like my perennial fandom. I always come back to it.
Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
So much good music came out this year.

I've probably listened to "The Universe Expanded" by Franz Ferdinand more than anything though.
Your favorite TV show of the year?
Suits. I just recently got into it, but it's amazing and I love it.
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Um, I don't have one. I've been actively trying to stay out of fandoms. Too much drama. I just tend to like stuff nowadays.
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
The Free! fandom is a bag of dicks most of the time. I haven't seen such stupid, and mean people since the early days of the Prince of Tennis fandom and all those ridiculous shipping wars. It's silly and unnecessary. Most of us are adults and shouldn't be attacking each other just because we don't like the same ships. Also, when you purposely go out of your way to bash a section of fandom for their ship because it's different than yours when they've done nothing to you explicitly reeks of cyberbullying and I don't like that shit. I lose respect for you in an instant.
Your fandom boyfriend/girlfriend of the year?
Tezuka. Always Tezuka.
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
When the Shinpuri Tezuka figure got announced. DEAR FUCKING GODS, I DIED.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
Getting my Tezuka, Shiraishi, and Yukimura figures. Actually seeing the Yukimura prototype painted up. I'd love a Sanada figure (1/8th). The 1/8 Free! figures (I would LOVE a Mikoshiba.) Basically, just figures man.
