Me too. I was so pissed when Konomi sent him away.
There are some pretty nice people, but sometimes it's kind of like a big circle jerk because they all know each other and have all these inside jokes while saying WE WANT TO BE FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE. It's annoying.
YES. YES HE WAS. OMG it was so amazing. Adam did a great job. I mean, he's not Freddie, but he sounded so good. Much better than Paul Rodgers did. I think Brian said in an interview that while Freddie is fantastic because you know it's him, Adam is a bit better live because he can hit the notes that Freddie could only really accomplish in studio.
Me, too. Like I understand why Konomi felt he had to but it was still grr inducing. But it will be nice to see Tezuka get some growth as a player that hopefully doesn't lead to more arm damage orz
I guess that's what happens with old fandoms too. There's so much history between people in it or just in the series that it's hard to know everything.
My friend who saw him in his own concert said that Adam's voice is definitely better live than on CD which makes me want to see him even more. I think it helps that with Queen, Adam's not really trying to do a Freddie impersonation but do his own thing while staying true to the essence of the Queen songs.

And I'm glad I didn't venture into tumblr fandom if they're cliquey. That just takes the fun out of fandom and fangirling.
And was Adam Lambert singing at the Queen concert? Because I would have loved to see that. What a great combo.

These seems to be a lot of new fans? idk, I'm old, so I feel like it's a 'these young whippersnappers need to get off my lawn' type thing.
I've never listened to him on an album, but he was fantastic live, so if you have a chance, I highly recommend that you go and see him.
Signed up! :)
