People are really caught up in their own thing, honestly. Everything is personal, to an extent, I mean really it is, but at the same time, we can't take anything personally. That makes no sense, does it, but it's a paradox.
Everything that occurs in our lives is framed by our thoughts on it, which are affected by what we bring to it, thus everything is personal.
But if everything that occurs is so far tainted by our psychological innards, then when someone says to us, "I don't like you" or, "You're wrong," we should not take it personally, because they are being more affected, again, by their psychological innards than by anything we're doing.
Thus, everything in life is personal, but we should take nothing personally.
Damn, I'm gonna post this in my journal! I think I'm on to something here!
