Actually, to flip that question around... do I have the right to know if my daughter ISN'T taking her birth control pills before I get saddled with raising a grandchild while my girl finishes her education?

Call me new fashioned, but I want my daughter taking her pill with breakfast and carrying a box of condoms with her the moment she starts thinking seriously about sex. I don't want her knocked up or dealing with an STD if it can possibly be avoided!

If she ain't protecting herself - she's got some 'splaining to do.

No! That simply isn't true. That is NOT the only reason. Some women/girls have to take birth controls to regulate their periods or because they have other similar issues.

My mother even takes them for this reason and I can guarantee she is not sexually active. (She is nearing menopause and my dad/her husband is deceased and she just isn't a sexual type of person.)

Do some research before you just claim things like that.
