I listened to it this morning, and quite enjoyed it. I'm not used to listening to podfic with background music, and it worked better than I thought. And you play beautifully! I thought the music was just a little bit too loud sometimes, though.

I hadn't read the fic before, and I really liked it (no surprise there, I love good gen fic). I especially liked the last line, it packs quite a punch.

Your reading voice is lovely, too--it works great for Ray K.

Yeah, most people are really pretty skeptical of the background music I put in my podfic, and I would do away with it, only I really can't stand hearing my own speaking voice all by itself. By contrast, I love listening to other people's speaking voices, especially if I've only met them on the internet, but I really can't stand my own. No idea why; just crazy, I guess.

Thanks for the heads up on the music volume! I will remix it as soon as I get to my computer with Audacity on it; I sat around trying to get the levels right for a while, but I think in the end I got ear-fatigue and convinced myself the levels were right when they weren't. This happens sometimes. :-)
