Well summer is officially over here in NYC. (and everywhere else in the northern hemisphere) I’ve started to remember how oppressive the subways can be with heat. In the winter it is a blessing, because even if the Subway is cold, it’s warmer than outside. However you’re hot already and it’s just plain hot in the subways. It’s hard to describe but

Ah my god, I totally agree with this sentiment. On one hand, summer is amazing in NYC, but on the other hand, it's really not so amazing in the subway systems. The hottest I have ever been in my whole life was down at the City Hall station 2 summers ago. I nearly fainted!

I noticed back in MA, the seasons were kind of shifting, with winter and summer creeping into spring and autumn.

It sucked because I would always get sweaters for my birthday, and wouldn't be able to wear them for months afterwards.
