I knew one person who went to Landmark out here in NYC. After your description, I am not surprised. She couldn't stop trying to encourage me to go. Her boyfriend went to a couple, but I could sense he was doing it only to maintain the sex in the relationship. They broke up shortly thereafter and I was very proud of him. I once dated someone who was very into Landmark. Everything she said about it made me so uncomfortable and creeped out, and also really sad for her. She was fairly vulnerable and suggestible anyway--a really easy target for anyone who wanted to tell her how to think.
Anyway, I agree. Landmark is fucking CREEPY.

I know a girl who is involved in Landmark. She is terrifyingly persistent in trying to get people to join. The thing reminds me of fundamentalist Christian organisations. I guess that's not surprising.
