I woke up this morning, looked at the clock and groaned. It was 10:25 and once again I couldn't remember my alarm having ever gone off. I decided to get dressed and show up at the very end of French to turn in my homework. I prefer the way the French say "I miss you." So while you would think with your English brain that manquer being the verb, it would be "Je te manque" but instead, it's "Tu me manques." The way it's constructed, it would be translated in English as "You are missing from me." I think it is more meaningful that way. In some cases it expresses ( Read more... )

I had a dream last night. The beginning was bizarre. The end was perfect. Even if I hadn't been sick, I would have gone back to sleep to try to stay in that reality. If only I had woken up and it had carried over into this one . . .

After spending too much time browsing myTunes this evening, I discovered that someone in Brown has the 2 Elliott Smith albums I didn't have. Now I can listen to him for 3.8 hours straight.
