A week late: Recap of the IndieFeed / NYC Urbana Showcase and Party

Hey All...

It's been a week now, and I really should have posted this note shortly after the event. But to be honest, I was kind of exhausted, and then I managed to get sick, and so I've been holed up and nursing my wounds here in New York for the past week (in my little cubby hole on 3rd street with the four foot high ceilings).

It was such a night! Everyone was great with the poetry and with the sense of community in the room.

You both have been amazing to me personally and last Tuesday was just another example of that.

That's what I thought! I actually ended up asking Cristin, and it sparked a lively discussion about how sometimes on LJ you know who people are, and sometimes it's just a mystery! {:{)}.

Now that I know who you are I can say, were were THRILLED to have you there, not just glad.
