Seventeen. The Next Day (Part 1.1)

He knew his heart doesn’t beat anymore. He knew he was cold as an ice right now. He knew he was… dead. But what’s this heat creeping inside his whole body once again? It’s not the same heat he felt before but it’s something warm and alive. It’s like; it’s melting his ice cold body and giving him new life.
‘What’s happening to me again?’
He then opens his eyes widely as his heart beats once again. He put his hand over to his chest and feels the thumping of his heart, checking if this was real or a dream.
‘I’m alive?’
He then feels so warm, right after. It was so warm, he feels like a new born baby getting out inside a mother’s womb.
‘What?! I’m a… I’m already… a-…’
“Vampire.” He rosed up from lying on the bed as his hypothesis becomes a conlclusion.
He then glanced at Donghae, who’s sleeping tiringly by his side. His arms are still wrapped around his waist, hugging him tightly in his arms.
“Hae…” He called and brushed his hair with his fingers.
“I love you too.” He kissed Donghae’s forehead and went back to lying beside him once again. He then wraps his now warm arms and hugs him as well.
Eunhyuk then drifts off to sleep as tiredness consumed him after. And to recover his lost strength too.

Donghae thought he was dreaming; Dreaming of Eunhyuk hugging him warmly. It feels so nice and comfy. It brings warmth to his now cold and hollow skin.
He feels so contented and peaceful in the arms of the person hugging him. He was thinking it was Eunhyuk, but he was… He was… dead, right?
Donghae’s erased the thought and just snuggled closer to the arms enveloping him.
He didn’t know he’ll fall asleep again, right after.

Eunhyuk woke up once again. And this time he finally got his strength back. He looks at the window and found out it was still dawn. The sun wasn’t still up yet.
He then glanced to his side and smiled when he saw Donghae still sleeping soundly while snuggling closer to his warm body.
‘He sure was tired.’ He commented on the back of his head.
Eunhyuk’s eyes then went to his lips that were puckered unintentionally. His heart glowed thinking of a way of waking up his boyfriend.
He stared at the pale pink colored lips and traced the contour of it.
Eunhyuk then move forward and finally closed the distance.
Their first ever kiss after he was reborn again.
It was still the same. It was still sweet as his favorite strawberries.

Donghae felt something wet and soft pressed on his lips. He then felt so warm and energize, after. He then opens his eyes to see who it was and he never thought that his heart will ever beat again like his heart beats for Eunhyuk.
“H-hae…”
“You-you’re…” Donghae stammered. Then he shockingly poured out his demanding tears and let it flow madly on his eyes down to his sides.
“Ssh… Why are you crying?” He then wiped the tears that watered Donghae’s eyes.
“Be… because I thought I’ll lose you.”
“Silly.Ta-Da-I-Ma, Hae. I’m back… for good.” Eunhyuk smilingly greeted Donghae.
“Good,” Donghae gulped his emotions back and tried to compose himself but he failed as his tears couldn’t stop from falling down. “I really thought you’ll… you’ll…”
“Die?” He shrugged. “I thought so too. But here I am, Hae. It’s a miracle is it?”
“Yeah, it was.”
Donghae then sealed Eunhyuk’s now warm lips… once again.
He thanked God mentally, as his prayers were finally answered.
Nothing is really impossible… when you believe.
