“Are you done, Hyukkie?” Donghae asks without looking at his classmate/best friend and boyfriend, Eunhyuk.
“Hyukkie?” He asks once more when he didn’t get a reply from Eunhyuk.
“H-huh?” Eunhyuk asks as if he was just awoken, “N-not yet.” He replied after closing the book down.
“I guess we have to memorize the lines even further, what do you think?”
“Sure…”
They get another book that was scattered on the floor and Donghae started scanning it while Eunhyuk was still on his position, not even moving.
He was busy watching-no staring at Donghae’s lips. He doesn’t know why he did but his mind kept thinking of how lovely Donghae’s lips are and how it will taste when he kissed it with his own mouth.
Eunhyuk tilted his head for thinking NC-17 about Donghae’s lips. It wasn’t right because they were still kids-as their parents addressed them both-. But, he can’t help it when Donghae’s mouth is that confident to be pretty alluring tonight inside his room.
“Alone.”
“Are you saying something, Hyukkie?” Donghae drop him a questioning look.
“H-huh? Ah, nothing. Nothing. Go on and read.” Eunhyuk answered with a sweat.
“Okay…” Donghae then went back to reading after.
Eunhyuk, then started staring again, but his eyes went to Donghae’s hand. He started daydreaming of how it will feel inside in those warm hands.
“You should study, Hyukkie.” Donghae stated without even looking at him.
“I-I am.”
Donghae nodded as a reply and taps his fingers on top of the book while still reading.
Eunhyuk, on the other hand gulps. He can’t help to stop the urge of his body as it consumes even his heart.
He then, slowly makes his way. His hands, then slowly crawls towards where Donghae’s hand is.
“You know, Hae…” Eunhyuk’s hand simply touches Donghae hand and lift it a little bit high, “I can’t read this part because your hand is covering it.”
Donghae lift an eyebrow before taking his hand away and simply grabs another book so his hand got occupied.
“But you have your own book to read, Hyukkie.” He commented.
“A-and so? I want to read your book too. Is there a problem with that? Your notes are complete.” Eunhyuk answered casually.
“But you write more than I do.”
Eunhyuk just shrug. He then eyed the book Donghae’s holding and grabs it, aiming for Donghae’s hand.
“What are you doing, Hyukkie?” Donghae asks in confusion as his face bears a big question mark while looking at him. “You want to read this book too?”
“Uh…” Eunhyuk then let Donghae’s hand go as if he was finally awakened by the spell he casted upon himself.
But before Eunhyuk hid his flirty hand, Donghae grabs it back and enclosed it with his’ after dropping the book in the floor.
“If you want to hold my hand so badly, why didn’t you say so earlier?” Donghae asks teasingly as his lips formed a smirk.
Eunhyuk blushed, “I… I-“
“See? You can’t concentrate on studying because you want skinship with me? Silly Hyukkie. I wanted to hold your hands too but I thought it will be a hindrance in your studies so I stopped myself.”
“Y-you were? And… it will not be a hindrance. You already knew that I can’t focus studying without you holding my hand, right?”
“Yeah… so you can stop staring at me, okay? I feel like I’m melting in my place because of you, Hyukkie.”
“O-okay…” Eunhyuk blushed once again while nodding.
They began studying once again and Eunhyuk concentrated on looking at his notes afterwards instead of staring at Donghae, though, he would drop him a glance time after time.
“Say, Hae… Will you hold my hands like this, every time? Warm and fits perfectly in mine? Will your hands be my spare when I’ve lost the other one? Will these hands be there to protect me, catch me when I fall and hold my hands with warmth and love? Will you, Hae be there to love me with all your heart?” Eunhyuk asks when they were resting side by side on the matted floor after studying for more than hour.
“Hmm… Hyukkie. I can’t promise you anything like I will give you the world or even catch a falling star for you. I can’t even promise you that I will be there to protect you, catch you when you fall and be your spare hand when you’d lost the other one. I will not promise you too that I will love you with all my heart… because I know that I already love you too much. Too much that I will never let anything bad happen to you that can make me cry or saddened. Furthermore, I can only promise you that… there won’t be a time I will unclasp your hands in mine because these hands are destined to be mine and mine alone. I will promise you that as long as I am breathing and there’s still life in me that God had given, I won’t stop loving you… with everything I have got, my whole body, heart and soul.” Donghae answered truthfully while intertwining their hands even more.
“Thanks, Hae.” Eunhyuk replied and rested on Donghae’s shoulder after.
“We’re cheesy. I thought those lines were romantic, but as we said it, it became cheesy, I don’t know why.”
“Yeah… but you added some lines, Hae. Your very own cheesy lines.” Eunhyuk chuckled.
“But you added the cheesy line first.” Donghae retort.
“But it’s true though cheesy, Hae. Will you be there to love me with all your heart?”
“And my answer’s still the same, Hyukkie. I promise you that as long as I am breathing and there’s still life in me that God had given, I won’t stop loving you… with everything I have got, my whole body, heart and soul.”
“And I promise you that-“
“Ssh. We have to sleep now or else, we couldn’t perform on stage tomorrow.”
“Okay. But do you think cross-dressing as Juliet and playing with a different story line made of Heechul Hyung would be a Daebak?”
“Of course, Hyukkie. Believe. Everything is possible.”
“Then, good luck to us tomorrow. Good night Hae.” Eunhyuk closes his eyes afterwards.
“Good night, Hyukkie.”
And they slept soundly while holding hands that night.
