Audio Junkyard

My grandad has got dementia and just moved into an old people's home. Back in the good old days (i guess the 1940s & 50s) he used to spin records. But now he is deaf so let that be a lesson to all you DJs and musicians out there. Anyhow, my Grandad had loads of cool audio stuff lying around and today my brother and I got to take what we wanted. your granddad sounds cool. have you got any recordings of him djing? DId he do a radio show. If he had a 4 track was he a muso?

My dad says when he was at uni that he had a friend who used to go out with John peel...

I don't think he had a radio show, I think it was more of a live thing. I can get tape on the 4 track to fast forward and rewind but not play! But I haven't used one before so I might just be doing something wrong.

A John Peel friend would be cool. BTW I like this interview with him
