I was bemoaning my lack of Lumos ticket to Fred earlier, and when I checked my email just now, I found this waiting -

while I am quite pleased for your happiness, it took me a while to associate your pleasure from the title line....

I have spent my day reading food reviews and this is my comment before filtering:
Although the skewering and grilling of food objects is supposedly an increase in desirability, the questionable nature of the "raw" ingredients make that unlikely.

I was trying to express sheer shock and utter disbelief in that there title. :p Maybe I should have said "Holy Fuckin' BALLS!" instead, but this was worth it, just to see your reply. :D

Oh, cool. Thanks! I might be able to get a room at the "official" hotel thanks to my friend Megan (she reserved a room that she's not going to need), but if that doesn't pan out, I'll definitely check the site you list. :)

I had completely given up on going to this event, since I hadn't heard anything from the organizers after being put on the waiting list (last Christmas, for heaven's sake!), so this is all very last minute.

I know! I got the email just before bed, so naturally it took me forever to get to sleep, but...SQUEE! :D Hope I don't end up spending a fortune on airfare, and that I can find a decent hotel that's close to you all.

Fred's going to be grumbly, since this means two weekends in a row away from home, but who cares? I get to do more HP stuff, and I get to meet Amanda and J! in PERSON, plus I'll see Cat and Megan again! YAY!
