Well, I WAS asleep, from about 11:30 til 1:30. I heard a noise, woke up, went to the bathroom, and have been too torqued up about tomorrow to drift back off. Thankfully I took a happy little yellow pill about half an hour ago, so once I finish typing this, I'll be able to snooze again. I'll be short on sleep tomorrow, but since I got a free upgrade

I know, I've never actually been scared while on a flight, but for some reason, leaving Fred (or having him leave me) for a trip always brings on the angst. *hugs* How'd you do the cute little heart?

I had a lovely time at Lumos, and am considering submitting a paper on Horcruxes for the next convention (Phoenix Rising in New Orleans, Spring 2007). Gotta get my nerd on!

The most interesting thing about death is that it can happen to anyone at any time. I could die in a car wreck tomorrow. Sarah could croak of overcooked corn poisoning next week. But really, the threat of untimely death is also what makes LIFE interesting. To me a momento morai is just a reminder to really live life for what it should be.

Ah, but you're a braver soul than me. I can't imagine not existing - the concept bothers me greatly. So maybe I should start making horcruxes? Do I want a pure, unblemished soul, or to live forever? Hmm. Decisions decisions!
