So I'm realizing that motorcyles are TOO FUCKING EXPENSIVE...to fix my bike it's gonna cost around $200 if I can do the work myself, which I probably can and that's just the minimum stuff to make it rideable again...but if I take it to the shop to get everything fixed including the pretty plastic piece that makes it look good (the most expensive

So ya gotta fix the pretty plastic piece, huh? Sounds more like the problem is "If you buy a bike, be really careful and try not to drop it."

I take it since you're mostly pissed about the bike that you're okay? I guess if all else fails, the fairing can wait--hooray for naked bikes!

Luckily it's not scratched up too bad, not too noticable really. I just dont like scratches at all. :P

I fixed it yesterday...it's running great now. I think I may have to tighten up the chain a little bit still though.
