002 [Video]

[The camera blinks on as a child wearing a red Yukata, and has an identical mullethawk  haircut as Daken hits a keys.  He's staring hard at the keyboard and pressing random keys, not liking the sound that comes out.  He presses them even harder.]

I've never heard a typewriter make noises like this before....

[He looks up and notices the webcam.]

[Miles waves at the unfamiliar boy, not wanting to startle him. He seemed like a nice kid, even though he looked kind of nervous.]

Hi. My name is Miles. And it's a computer. Don't they have computers at your school?

[Maybe the boy came from a school with less money. Miles frowned a bit.]

I could teach you about it, if you want. They're pretty easy once you know what it does.

They don't have computers where I'm from. Just typewriters and cameras.

[He hesitantly waves back, still unused to how the computer exactly works.]

If you stare at it long enough, different people come in it to talk to, right?

Sort of. You have telephones where you're from, right? Think of a computer like a telephone with picture. My computer is talking to your computer, and that's how you see me right now.

[Miles smiles, hoping his analogy worked.]
