Well, it finally happened: after over 3 years of taking riding lessons, today I went riding on my own. It was not the ideal weather for riding, it's freaking cold today, but a little cold is nothing compared to some good horsey time ( Read more... )

Being so white means you'll have a horse of a different color everyday come spring/summer! hee hee

Congrats on your ride! Even though it was cold, it sounded like you had fun! Can't wait to see some riding shots of you guys together.

Like housedog said, that stall is pretty neat! I'd rather have a cement one than a wooden one! (although, at the moment my horses are in a pasture with a run-in. I want a barn though :\ )

Nah, he'll be the poop colored horse. He's like a puppy, has to go and rub himself on a nasty pile of manure when he gets the chance lol

It was fun and he was such a good boy! I have to convince one of my non-horsey friends to come along and get some pictures someday, but I doubt there'll be much chance of that until it gets warmer.

Wood or cement, a barn is freaking expensive though, that's why I have share the lease. Right now th BO is covering the other half of the board, but sooner or later I'll have to start sharing Z with someone else *whines*
