2 Years Later
::April 2016::
Two years ago on the Lunar New Year, Changmin and Yunho welcomed a second child into the world by the name of Jung-Shim ChinHae. He was a beautiful and very calm child, but as soon as he learned how to walk properly, it had been a totally different story. He turned from calm to super active, and that always made Changmin worry about his whereabouts.
Ever since Yunho had the great idea of watching Jurassic Park, ChinHae became overly obsessed with dinosaurs. The toddler owned the 3 movies and watched them at least once a day.
He was the pickiest eater and even though Yunho didn’t care too much, Changmin sure did. He tried to make his son eat healthy and happily, but it was a constant struggle on his part. In the end he succeeded a bit, because ChinHae started to eat what was on his plate. The only down side is that he only ate the things he wanted to eat.
ChinHae was also the definition of stubborn and hated to be wrong about anything. The little boy would not back down until people told him he was right. Yunho remembered amusingly that time when Changmin tried to teach him how to pronounce and recognize colors in Japanese. He had spent the whole morning, showing the colors and at the end, no matter how many times Changmin told him he was wrong, ChinHae would say that the blue block his father was pointing at was ‘led’ as he called the red color.
He hated to be held by anyone but Yunho or Changmin. It didn’t matter at all that it was a person he knew. If his parents were not around, he wouldn’t let anyone touch him. And if people dared to do it, he would cry as loud as he could. The worst part was that once he started crying, it was really difficult to calm him down….unless he was in his appa’s arms.
ChinHae was a complete appa’s boy. Even though he loved Yunho and was the one he obeyed the most, ChinHae just didn’t like to be without his dear Changmin appa.
Now that he was 2 years old, Changmin started to notice that whenever he would hug someone, and especially if it was Yunho, ChinHae would come to him and grabbed him by the leg, talking in his middle language. Good thing was that only Changmin understood him some times because he would say things that translated into proper language as ‘Get off! Min appa is mine!’.
That was exactly why on one certain day that Changmin had a day off and Yunho happened to be working at home, the young man came up with the perfect plan. If there was something Changmin really learned to enjoy, it was how his son ‘fought’ for him. After all it was only fair, because now that JiYool was 4 ½, she was starting with her Electra complex phase.
Yunho was talking on the phone with Jaejoong about some ideas for a project, when Changmin suddenly sat on Yunho’s lap. The older man frowned because most times Changmin wouldn’t do something like that, much less when he was on the phone. Anyhow, who was Yunho to complain when his husband started to give him some light pecks on the neck and jaw?
Yunho told Jaejoong that they would continue talking about the subject later on because he had something to do at the moment. Jaejoong asked if that something to do was a person by the name Changmin. Yunho blushed scarlet before hanging up the phone, and focusing on the soft lips that were on his own. They were mere smooches, but Yunho was starting to get aroused by it.
He put his hand on Changmin’s slim waist, when he felt tiny hands on his legs, trying to push him away from his beloved husband. When he looked down, he saw a very angry ChinHae almost on the verge of tears, calling out for his Changmin appa.
“No! Min appa mine!” the little kid whined over and over.
Changmin laughed, and took the boy in his arms. He started to kiss his son and hugged him, and before Yunho knew it, both were gone down the hall.
It took Yunho a few minutes to realize that Changmin had just used him to gain his son’s attention. He laughed and shook his head and loved how childish his always serious and snarky husband could be at times (mostly when it came to their children).
He totally understood Changmin, though. Yunho kinda liked whenever Changmin got jealous from time to time. It made him feel wanted to an extent.
Changmin was a jealous person by nature; he just couldn’t help but fight for what he considered his. He still laughed every time people said that a jealous Changmin was something to be scared of, but oh how little they know. Jealous Changmin was a minor thing compared to a jealous JiYool…
One day, when Yunho was happily watching TV after a stressful month of designing. JiYool came into the room, wanting to spend some time with her daddy and maybe play dress up. But unfortunately for Yunho, a music video of Girl’s Generation started just that very moment and JiYool looked at it and then to Yunho, and back at the tv. She ran out of the room, looking franticly for her appa.
“Min appa! Min appa!” JiYool exclaimed angrily as she entered the living room where Changmin was folding clothes.
“Don’t yell, princess. Your brother is still sleeping,” Changmin informed his daughter. “What’s wrong?”
JiYool groaned and took Changmin’s hand. “Daddy is watching women on TV! Let’s punish him!” She exclaimed, pulling her dad towards her to make him get up from the couch. “He’s not supposed to be watching women appa!”
Changmin laughed and followed his upset princess hand in hand to where Yunho was. In the end he had told his daughter that he was going to punish Yunho later that night, and JiYool had come up with the idea of the perfect punishment for her daddy on her own. She was going to make chocolate cookies with Jaejoong oppa and she wouldn’t give any to Yunho.

::Few Weeks Later::
Changmin went to open the car door for his son, and grabbed his backpack and dinosaur toys.
“Min Appa!” ChinHae yelled pulling on Changmin’s coat. “Rawr book!”
Changmin looked down at his son, and smiled even though he didn’t feel good. “I’ll give you the dinosaur book later,” he told his son as he locked up his car. “Let’s get inside before it rains.”
How he understood his son’s words was even beyond his own comprehension. At first, he had been worried because since he was 1 years old, ChinHae refused to speak. Changmin and Yunho had spoken with pediatrician wanting to check that everything was ok with their son, only to learn that it was just normal, even more when it came to stubborn kids like ChinHae.
The little boy nodded and ran off to jump in some of the puddles to Changmin’s dismay. Sometimes he wished ChinHae would be as obedient and calmed as his sister.
Changmin let it go starting to remind himself that no matter what, ChinHae was always going to end up all dirty. After all, he was just a kid and that was what kids did. That was probably one of the things he had learned over the years and after having his second child. Apparently, Changmin had become really patient, but only when it came to his children that is.
He really wanted to lean over and hurl into the potted plants along the walkway, but he tried to control himself. He knew that Yunho and JiYool have been into gardening lately, and doing this action surely would get them both upset. With a sigh, he grabbed ChinHae, who was splashing up a storm, before he completely soaked himself and both finished making their way up the gravel path.
“Ookies appa!” The little boy said this time. “Pease?”
“No cookies before dinner, baby. You know that.” Changmin shook his head, and took his time to fight off the second wave of nausea in the past 5 minutes.
“Baby ookies!” ChinHae pouted.
Changmin let out a soft laugh and shook his head. He had to admit that the way ChinHae called himself a baby whenever he wanted something really bad was amusing somehow. “I said no, baby. No cookies before dinner.”
ChinHae continued pouting and Changmin decided that maybe it was better to ignore him for now. As he paused in front of the entrance door, he marveled at the beautiful house that his husband had designed.
Yunho had saved his money and had promised Changmin that he was going to build him a house with enough space for their children. It had been a hard task because having 2 kids was surely one of the things that made saving money extremely difficult, but they managed to do it! Changmin had a stable job and Yunho was having a lot of projects coming to his company, so they both had a good income.
The house was just the way he wanted it and it really looked like one of those houses that are presented on architecture magazines. He hated to admit it, but Jaejoong had done a fantastic job on the interior design, and especially on the kitchen. That was the most important feature of the house because that was where he and JiYool spent most of their time.
Changmin felt really proud of his husband. Yunho’s firm of architects had become a well known one in a short period of time all around Korea and Japan. Even the America market was interested in his husband’s firm. And even through all of that, Yunho still managed to be there for him and their kids, working at home whenever he could….if the kids let him.
Changmin entered their house, and took off his shoes before placing his stuff on the bench located next to the door. He had to pull ChinHae back to the entry way, so he could get him out of his rain gear.
“Pungie!” The little boy said to his father.
Changmin gave him ‘the’ look, but didn’t seem to work on the boy today because he ran off through the house. He sighed again, as he saw that JiYool’s backpack and shoes weren’t lined up. He bent down and straightened the items up, still being the neat freak that he had always been.
He was about to start on some healthy snacks until dinner was ready, when he saw Taepung and ChinHae run through the kitchen. “Not in the kitchen, ChinHae! I’ve told you million times!”
The boy and the dog ran to the living room and next thing he heard was JiYool yelling for ChinHae to leave her and Yunho alone because they were drawing.
He walked down the hallway into the open living room and stopped when he saw his husband and daughter drawing on the floor. Changmin smiled and leaned on the doorframe, as he watched Yunho and JiYool bicker back and forth.
“Daddy!” JiYool exclaimed. “That is not Flynn Rider!”
Yunho laughed. “It is, princess,” he told the 4 year old and began explaining everything in his drawing. “See?”
JiYool looked down to Yunho’s drawing again for a few seconds. She grabbed some crayons out of her pink box and started drawing something. “This is Flynn Rider, daddy!” She proudly presented to her father.
Yunho laughed, looking at the drawing. “Wouldn’t that be Rapunzel, darling? It’s all pink and purple.”
The little girl rolled his eyes. “No! I just put pink and purple to make it prettier!” She said as if it was the most normal thing on earth. “Look, he’s just as handsome as you are, daddy!”
Yunho just smiled at her and grabbed her into a hug. JiYool instantly melted into Yunho’s hug and hugged her daddy back. It was moments like this that Changmin loved. Yunho and JiYool’s interactions tended to be very sweet and cute. JiYool laughed hard, and Yunho kissed her on the forehead, watching how her eyes became mismatched just like Changmin’s.
Changmin thought it was best to make his presence known. “Princess JiYoolie loves you too much, Yunho,” he said to his husband in a teasing voice as he walked into the living room. Both father and daughter turned around, and JiYool ran to her appa. “Hi, my little princess.”
“Appa!” She shouted and wrapped her little arms around his long legs. “Do you feel better?”
He looked down at her, as he put some hair behind her ear. “I’m just fine, darling,” her father answered before bending down and kissing her cheeks twice. “How was your day at school? Did you finish your homework?”
JiYool nodded. “It was good, and I finished all of it. Halmoni checked it when she dropped off the groceries.”
“That’s good,” Changmin said straightening out her pink dress.
She looked up at her father with matching big brown eyes. Changmin smiled and patted her head gently. ChinHae ran in the room, and launched himself onto Yunho, roaring like a T-Rex as he would call himself from time to time.
Yunho playfully flipped him and laid him down gently on the floor. The little boy said something in his so called dinosaur language, and next thing his parents saw was ChinHae and Taepung heading to the rec room.
“Weird baby,” JiYool said to herself before hurrying back to the pile of crayons, markers, and construction paper.
Changmin frowned at the mess on his recently polished hard wood floor once he noticed how big it actually was. Yunho noticed his husband’s expression, and cleared his throat.
“Why don’t we clean up and get ready to go out to dinner?” Yunho suggested to his child before she could protest. “Kyuhyun is bringing his nieces and daughter tonight for you, JiYool.”
“Yay!” The little girl screamed and ran up the stairs.
“No running on the stairs, JiYool! And grab the handrail!” Changmin screamed from behind Yunho.
JiYool stopped running and did as her father had just told her.
Yunho laughed and finished cleaning up the mess JiYool and he had made. Once he had every writing/coloring utensils back in the buckets and the ever so famous pink box of JiYool’s, along with the paper placed in a neat pile on the coffee table, he patted the seat next to him.
“Sit down, babe,” he told his lover.
Changmin froze and looked around. “It’s too quiet, Yunho,” he said with a worried expression. “What’s ChinHae doing? I’ll check up on him.”
Both parents, and especially Changmin, were convinced they were going to get old real soon. ChinHae started to develop this habit of hiding, and even though you would call for him, he just wouldn’t answer.
A few days ago, while Changmin went to prepare some ‘pink milk’ as JiYool called her strawberry flavored milk, and Yunho went to answer a phone call, ChinHae had hidden inside the closet of their room.
Changmin had immediately noticed the absence of their son and had informed Yunho. Both had called out for him, and even JiYool had tired, but he never answered. By the time he was found, he was covered in milk powder, along with half of Changmin’s good suits.
Neither Yunho nor Changmin knew if to laugh or to cry.
It took Yunho a while to find a way for ChinHae to reveal where he was. Finally both parents found out that calling for him in a playful voice, with the nickname he loved the most would do the trick.
“Where is my prince?” Changmin called out, as he started to look around again.
“Here, Min appa! Here!” The little boy exclaimed running back into the living room, not looking at where he was stepping, just his parents.
That was a bad idea because he fell when his foot came into contact with the coffee table. Changmin and Yunho watched as their son stood up in shock and his eyes got big as he saw his slightly scarped shin.
“Huts! It huts!” He cried and ran to Changmin. “Appa!” The little boy said between sniffles.
Changmin hugged him and laughed. “Oh, my poor baby.”
After a few seconds, ChinHae cleared his throat and stopped crying. Yunho wiped the last remaining tears and patted his son’s head tenderly.
ChinHae got off of his father’s lap. “Rex…Tops…” he mumbled, as he started to look for his favorite T-Rex and Triceratops toys.
He went into the rec room again and Changmin laughed. “He’s so funny.”
“He is a Jung,” Yunho said smugly. “So what did Dr. Kang say, babe?” Yunho asked.
Changmin turned to look as his husband and smiled. “He said that we’re expecting again, and I’m two months along.”
“Seriously?!” Yunho questioned, holding Changmin’s hands in his own.
Changmin nodded. “Having these two monsters is stressful, but I guess it was just our time again.” Changmin replied. “I have been careful since JiYool joined us. But this one just managed to sneak by, just like ChinHae, apparently,” he added, looking at his husband. “It’s always your fault, Yunho! It only takes one single time for you to forget the condom to get me pregnant. It’s fucking unbelievable! At this rate, I’m gonna spend my whole life being pregnant! I’m only 28 years old Yunho! Let me live my life!”
“Then I was right,” Yunho looked at him smiling. “As for the condom, it was hard to get on, and you know I don’t wear them often,” he replied back. “Plus, it was too small for me!”
“Well, that’s not my fucking problem, is it? It’s not my fault you’re large, Yunho!” Changmin said. “Not that I’m complaining about the size, of course.”
Yunho grinned. “It’s not my fault it slipped off. Plus I thought you were on the pill.”
“Yunho, I told you that I ran out, and I didn’t have my new dose yet. Do you ever listen to me when we fuck?” Changmin told him trying not to get upset. “You were very persistent that night, so I had to shut you up.”
Yunho smiled. “It was my birthday, Min!”
“I know! But why do you have to be so damn persistent! You have always been after all.” Changmin sighed. “Remember when we started talking? I was 15. And I was almost 16 when we started dating, you were such a cradle robber, Yunho…” he teased.
“I’m just 2 years older than you, Changmin, not 20,” Yunho argued. “Besides, you were such a prude back then! You wouldn’t let me kiss you anywhere that wasn’t your face.” He smirked.
Changmin gasped. “I was not a prude!” He claimed. “I was just young and shy.”
“I couldn’t even see you undressing!” Yunho stated. “You saw me naked hundreds of times.”
Changmin shrugged. “And?”
“We didn’t have sex until you were 21 Changmin!” Yunho exclaimed. “Twenty fucking one!”
Changmin looked at him and frowned. “But I made up for it! I always, always gave you hand and blow jobs whenever you asked for, so you should shut your fucking mouth!”
Yunho smirked, as Changmin got more agitated. “Come ‘mere…” he said as he grabbed his husband. “I’m just teasing you, no need to get mad!”
Before Changmin could continue and get away from Yunho, JiYool came down in a purple dress with pink dots, pink leggings and her favorite pair of purple boots. “I’m ready!” She stated proudly. Since she was 3, she made her parents listen to her when it came to her clothes. JiYool was a very fashionable little girl and Yunho was sure that came from Changmin’s side.
“Wow, princess! You look beautiful!” Yunho told his child with a big smile.
Changmin sighed. “What are you wearing this time?”
“Clothes, appa,” JiYool raised an eyebrow. “What else would I have on?”
Yunho smiled, and shook his head in a teasing way. “She’s just like you, Min. Quick with a comeback. I swear.”
“Shut up, Yunho,” Changmin said, and got up. “I need to go get that little monster of a son we have dressed properly.”
JiYool looked at her appa and pouted. “Who’s going to do my hair?” She asked worriedly. “Appa?”
“I can do that, princess,” Yunho said. “But we’re going to need to get all the stuff first. Is a ponytail good?” He asked hopefully since that was the only thing that he could do well.
“Half ponytail,” JiYool stated happily, grabbing Yunho’s hand and leading him upstairs.
Changmin entered the rec room and saw that ChinHae was very busy watching the Bubbleguppies on the TV. That was probably the only TV show that actually could entertain ChinHae, and he was glad it had nothing to do with dinosaurs, because thanks to his son, now Changmin knew by heart every kind of dinosaur that had ever existed and their characteristics.
“Let’s go get you dressed for the party, baby,” Changmin said, grabbing his son and carrying him.
ChinHae groaned. “No! Uppies!” He exclaimed, pointing at the TV. He was about to throw a tantrum when he saw his father’s serious expression and decided better not to.
Changmin took him upstairs and the whole family got ready to go out.
*****
Later that night, the family of four arrived at the restaurant.
JiYool was talking and talking and asking questions for Yunho to answer, while Changmin kept a tight hold on his son, who was trying to get JiYool’s attention.
The family walked inside, and handed over their coats. Changmin felt the wave of nausea arising. He placed a surprised ChinHae into Yunho’s arms, and pushed past some of their friends to head to the restroom.
“What’s with him?” Siwon asked Yunho as they finished hugging, and squishing ChinHae between them. “Is he ok?”
Kyuhyun came up with his and Siwon adoptive daughter, AeCha, and his two twin nieces MinKi and MinHee. “Is he?” the young man asked Yunho excitedly. The other nodded and smiled. “I knew it!”
“What?” Siwon asked as AeCha wanted to get picked up. “I’m lost.”
Changmin walked up to the group, and looked around. “What?”
“You’re pregnant,” Kyuhyun answered truthfully.
JiYool looked up at Yunho and frowned. "What's wrong with appa?" she asked. "What does pregnant mean?"
Yunho looked down at his child and patted her head until Jaejoong came over gently took her hand, and ChinHae reached for him also. Jaejoong took him from Yunho, and led all the kids to an area that was set up from them. Siwon placed AeCha on the floor and told her and her cousins to follow Jaejoong. Kyuhyun looked displaced, and Siwon hugged him from behind.
“I am pregnant.” Changmin glared. “But what’s with you always wanting me pregnant Kyuhyun? Can’t I ever just be sick and not have a baby in my stomach?”
"Well, you surely always seem to be pregnant!” Kyuhyun teased his friend, which earned him a quite hard smack from Changmin and a death glare before walking away to where the kids where.
Yunho understood and patted Kyuhyun shoulder. "It's alright. You know he never stays mad at you for too long."
"I know." Kyuhyun sighed. "Well go get him, and then enjoy the party."
Yunho nodded. "I will." he smiled. "I just still can't believe you guys eloped in Las Vegas."
"What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!" Siwon laughed kissed Kyuhyun's neck lightly. "Now we’re like you guys. Married!"
Yunho's laughed. "Took you a while."
"Look who’s talking? You and Min dated for almost 10 years before getting married. Siwon and I only dated for 2 ½. We beat you!" Kyu smirked as he finally broke himself away from Siwon death grip.
The older man nodded in agreement, and was about to respond when JiYool and ChinHae ran by quickly, and went outside. Yunho hurried and followed his kids, but stopped when he saw them both in Changmin's embrace. He was whispering something to both of them and Yunho watched ChinHae’s face light up.
“Dino movie?!” ChinHae said smiling brightly. “Rawr!!”
Changmin groaned at the thought of having to watch those movies all weekend. Yunho came over and lifted JiYool off of his husband’s lap, and placed her in his.
“How about we head inside?” Yunho told his family. “They are bringing out the cake.” JiYool struggled to get out of Yunho’s grip as AeCha was by the door waving at her. Changmin and Yunho watched their daughter leave them and go inside with her best friend. ChinHae stayed in place, and Yunho stood first and picked him up from Changmin’s arms. He stared at his husband and smiled. “Are you ok? Feeling good?”
“Yes,” the younger man said ruffling some of ChinHae’s hair. “Why do you ask?”
Yunho shook his head, and grabbed Changmin to pull him closer. “Just asking.”
“Sure you were, Yunho,” Changmin said leaning his head on top Yunho’s shoulder. ChinHae looked at his appa, and attempted to ruffle his hair, but ended up messing it up. “Stop it you silly boy.”
The little boy giggled and hid his face into the shoulder of his father before making his way between them. Yunho smiled. Of course ChinHae would get jealous and want to get in between them to be next to his beloved Min appa.
A/N2: Finally! I know, I know! It's been so much time since we (and I) have posted in the homin fandom, but as I said before, my thesis gave me a reality check and I had to focus on real life for a while, besides...those EXO guys are really distracting! Anyways...I hope you guys enjoy this and you will have more of this series and my other story soon! :) Love ya!
