Ok, so...I need to get this out of my system:

I FUCKING LOVE MANUELA KRALLER!

I mean, two days ago I was talking with a friend about how I thought Symphonic Metal had become the same, with some exceptions of course.

My aching heart was so hurt after Epica launched Never Enough years ago, because well, it wasn't their best work and it isn't as epic as The Phantom Agony, but God knows how much I love Simone Simons, I mean, LOOK AT HER! She is perfect! I'll go lesbian every fucking day for her!

Anyways, like a week ago I got to see The Rasmus new single and I loved it! So I had to have the album...which is not as good as Black Roses or Hide From The Sun, but it's not bad. It's like a mixture of Lauri's New World Album with Black Roses, but that's not the point. The point is that my mind works in a really weird way and thinking and listening to The Rasmus I remembered the best band ever, which I haven't listened lately, which is HIM (though neither TR or HIM are metal at all! xD). Yes, I love them and always will and Ville Valo is imma be the true love of my life, but I have to admit Screamworks wasn't that good...so, I neglected a lot of my metal/gothic rock, visual kei, jrock stuff for some time and got stuck with kpop, alternative rock and indie.

While I was listening to HIM songs, I decided to look for some of the new stuff of Nightwish and Tarja Turunen. and well, look for metal music in general. While I was at it, I listened to Tarja's What Lies Beneath album and I liked it, I liked it a lot. Meanwhile, and I'm sorry to say this, but Nightwish's Imaginaerum wasn't that appealing for me, though it does have catchy songs. And I swear I have nothing against Anette or whatever, I actually like her voice a lot, but I just think Dark Passion Play was better...Tuomas, oh, Tuomas, what have you done?!

Where was I? Oh, yeah, Tarja Turunen.

Well, then, I searched for Epica's new single Storm the Sorrow and I  was surprised I liked it a lot! So while I was watching the video on youtube and drooling over how beautiful Simone looks, I clicked on the Xandria video that was on the sidebar, just because and OH MY FUCKING GOD! It was sooooo gooood!

I mean, I've never really liked Xandria before. Ravenheart and all their old stuff just wasn't that good for me. But I didn't know Lisa was not in the band anymore and they had a new vocalist: Manuela Kraller! Oh dear, I just cried, like literally after hearing A Prophecy of Worlds to Fall, because it's awesome in every fucking way! I know it's not the same, but Neverworld's End really reminds me of the Nightwish I fell in love with, when Tarja was in there.

Now, I swear I have moved on with the whole Nightwish and Tarja drama (as well as with the whole TVXQ/JYJ lawsuit), but I have the right (insert Sonata Arctica's 'I have the right' song here) to be nostalgic from time to time, ok? And well, Nightwish and everything that has to do with Finland imma be forever relevant in my life, so Xandria's new album moved things in me! T___T

It's like listening to old Nightwish but very different at the same time. And Gosh! Manuela's voice is so great! I totally love her colour of voice and technique and her in general! xD It's really different from Tarja's and I love them both so, so much!

Until now, I think my fav song in the whole album is Forevermore and I'm so going to write a fic out of it! xD Preferably KaiHun...or I don't know... :P

Anyways...I just needed to get this out of me and if someone out there gets to read this and happens to like symphonic metal or wants to know what the hell does that sounds like, well, do listen to Xandria's Neverworld's End album, it's really worth it! :)
