Well I haven't posted for a bit I know. I was not feeling tops and dragging around then came down with Shingles. I am a bit young for that I thought but my immune system was run down and too much prolonged stress I was told. Lost of pain in the back then spots prednizone,shingle meds, etc two weeks zip by and we go on vacation to a Steam con

Shingles - ouch! Sorry to hear you went through that, but glad that you survived! I think that everyone who has had chicken pox in their childhood is subject to it, though I don't know if it is inevitable that everyone actually comes down with it; the local pharmacies are offering some sort of vaccine against it - but I don't know if Health Insurance covers it, or just how effective it is.

I am curious - how do your fellow-students compare to the lot who were in that community college digital graphics class with you? Are these folks also kids, or are they more your peers? Sounds like more work (or dedication to work) is required for what you are doing now - but you also sound much happier!

IN the college it was a mix of all ages. The kids of 18 to 24 were slackers mostly. Only one or two tried the rest were still like little kids who have to be told what to do all the time 24/7 and they most often did not take their assignments seriously at all. I hated to look at their work as it was like oh I put up a page see it has some werds on it and some font stuffs and its sorta like colors here and there. Gimmie an A

I am glad you are feeling a lot better. Dave told me about your shingle attack. The fact you went to a steam Con says a lot. You had a great time and even got into the swing of things putting together costumes. Renny is getting his own Steam Punk outfit put together. If it is as elegant as it HAS to be for him, I will want to take him to steam cons as well as other cons just to show off.

I am glad to hear your oil painting progresses. Goofing things is part of the learning process and hopefully learned lessons are reflected later in bolder, better works. We should do lunch sometime and talk.

I frankly have NO idea when you are in town you don't answer your phone mail half the time maybe calling me would help? An email invite?
Our costumes will get more elaborate as I make things in the future. Dave's goggles are first
